How to Get Secret Units in Anime Origins

Three documented launch Secrets, three different routes: Madaro and Cursed Lover are both earned in-game (quest chain and Rifts), and only Valcrad comes from a banner — plus the false summon-rate and pity claims to avoid.

What to do in-game

Follow the steps in order, then use the notes below to avoid wasting limited currency or materials.

Step 1
Build a Gem reserve
Reach Level 10 and redeem the Gem codes listed active — TowerFixed (2,000) and Release! (1,750) — for 3,750 reported Gems in total. Farm stages your team can complete, and keep enough Gems to stop without emptying every progression resource.
Tip: A code reward is guaranteed once redeemed correctly; a Secret pull is not. Claim the certain value before opening the banner.
Step 2
Inspect the live banner pool
If you are pulling, open the current summon banner and confirm the unit you want is actually listed. Banner pools can rotate, and a video showing a Secret does not prove that unit remains available now. Two of the three Secrets are not banner content at all: Madaro's route is the quest chain, and Cursed Lover's is the Rift, so no amount of Gems reaches either one.

Pull with a stop rule
Choose a Gem limit before summoning and stop when it is reached. Since the public material does not provide a verified per-unit chance or unit pity, no calculator can honestly guarantee the number of pulls needed for a Secret.

Madaro: boss burst, but a quest reward

Madaro (Edo Tensei) is the Madara-inspired Secret. His documented kit includes Heaven Splitter, an active attack reported at 500% damage with three times his normal range, plus Susanoo mechanics.

He is the clearest pick when the account needs a boss-burst carry. He is also the one Secret on this page you cannot summon: he is unlocked through the Strongest Shinobi quest chain, whose Ghost's Trial first clear is guaranteed. Start from his unit guide if you want the step list.

Valcrad: boss control

Valcrad (Unleashed), the Alucard-inspired unit, brings Coffin Trap, which seals a boss for seven seconds, and a crit mechanic that permanently grows his range up to the documented cap.

Choose him when control and long-fight scaling matter. The banner does not publish a dependable Valcrad-only summon chance, so searches for Alucard odds should not be converted into a Gem guarantee.

Cursed Lover: flexible abilities

Cursed Lover (Pure Love), the Yuta-inspired Secret, can copy and store up to four active abilities from other units. That makes the unit flexible, but also more dependent on the rest of the roster than a self-contained damage carry.

Plan the team you would copy from before chasing the unit. A top placement does not remove the need for compatible abilities and a clear role in your own lineup.

Do not mix unit odds with trait odds

Immortal is a Secret-tier trait with a community-reported 0.1% roll rate and a 1,300-reroll pity. Those numbers belong to Trait Rerolls at the trait NPC, not to the summon banner.

The launch material does not publish a verified Secret-unit rate or unit pity. Treat any exact unit odds as unverified unless the live banner or an official announcement provides them.

Use showcases as kit footage, not as a pity clock

Launch-week videos that test or evolve every Secret are useful for seeing Heaven Splitter, Coffin Trap, and copied abilities in motion. They do not prove how many Gems you will spend.

Your target is absent from the banner

For Valcrad the banner is the route — wait for a pool that lists him. If your target is Madaro, run the Strongest Shinobi quest chain instead; if it is Cursed Lover, farm Rift clears. Neither of those two ever appears in the summon pool.

A guide quotes a 0.1% Secret rate

That number belongs to the Immortal trait. No verified per-unit Secret summon rate is published.

You reached your Gem limit without a Secret

Stop at the budget you set and rebuild the reserve; no verified unit pity guarantees the next pull.
